Location Data
We collect Your GPS location to verify You are located in New York City. Reciproc8™ is currently only available to users in NYC. We check Your location:
- Once when You sign up for an account
- Every 30 days thereafter to maintain access
If You are outside NYC during these checks, You will not be able to access the Service. You must grant location permissions to use Reciproc8™. Location data is retained for 90 days.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Analytics and Session Recording
We use PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to understand how users interact with our app. This helps us improve the Service and provide better support.
What PostHog Collects:
- Individual user activity - Your actions in the app are tracked and linked to Your user account. This data is not anonymized.
- Screen recordings - We record Your screen while You use the app, capturing all interactions, text You enter, images You view, and buttons You tap.
- Event tracking - We track specific actions You take, such as creating offers, sending requests, viewing profiles, and completing exchanges.
- Performance data - Load times, API response times, and app performance metrics.
- Network activity - API calls and network requests made by the app.
Data Retention:
- Session replay recordings: 90 days
- Event data: 12 months
- User profiles: Duration of Your account plus 30 days after deletion
Opting Out:
